How do I know if the machine is producing Stabilised Aqueous Ozone or just water?
The machine will shut down and give an error if Stabilised Aqueous Ozone is not being produced.
How do I check the efficiency of the ozone?
Stabilised Aqueous Ozone generated by our Lotus® Pro device has been tested by Third Party Laboratories as per Green Seal Standards GS37 and GS53.
Where do I use Lotus® Pro?
Applications include carpets, stone, marble, ceramic, glass, mirrors, bathrooms, stainless steel & chrome, TVs, computer screens, appliances, white boards, hardwood and vinyl. It also deodorises and works well at removing salt residue in the winter.
Where do I use PROScrub?
The PROScrub can be used in showers for removal of tough soap scum and in kitchens for degreasing surfaces and floors.
What does the Lotus® Pro/PROScrub NOT replace?
The Lotus® Pro replaces deodorisers as well as neutral, stainless steel, all-purpose and glass cleaners. It DOES NOT replace your current disinfectant.
Can chemicals be used with the water to enhance the ability of cleaning?
It is not recommended that any chemical be used with the Lotus® Pro solution. Chemicals will eliminate the ozone in the water and therefore defeats the purpose of using Stabilised Aqueous Ozone.
Do I need to wear PPE’s when cleaning with Stabilised Aqueous Ozone?
The Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) of Stabilized Aqueous Ozone is 0-0-0-A. The use of protective gear should be worn at your discretion, according to the organic matter or pathogens you are coming into contact with, not the Stabilised Aqueous Ozone.
Can I drink the Lotus® Pro solution?
The use of the solution is intended to fill mop buckets, auto-scrubbers, carpet extractors and spray bottles with Stabilised Aqueous Ozone for the purpose of cleaning, removing stains, deodorising and killing germs.
The solution is not intended for consumption, but it will not harm someone if they accidentally drink it.
Will the Stabilised Aqueous Ozone solution remove wax from floor?
The Stabilised Aqueous Ozone will not remove wax from a floor surface. Feedback from current customers: floor finishes last longer.
Can the solution remove mold?
The Stabilised Aqueous Ozone kills mold. In order to remove dead spores, areas must then be scrubbed.
What temperature of water must I use with the Lotus® Pro?
Cold water only.
The Replace Stabiliser light is flashing amber.
This indicates there are approximately 50 litres of solution left on the stabiliser. Ensure you have a new Lotus® Pro Stabiliser Module in inventory.
The Replace Stabiliser light is illuminated solid amber/yellow, unit is beeping and will not dispense.
The stabiliser and blue cartridge must be replaced. Follow the instructions to change stabilizer on the User Guide. Ensure the blue desiccant cartridge is inserted into the High Capacity Unit Housing and snapped into place. When it is in place you will hear it click into position and if you pull on the cartridge it will not remove from the housing.
I changed the stabiliser and the blue cartridge but the Replace Stabiliser light is illuminated solid amber/yellow, unit is beeping and it will not dispense.
Ensure the “new” blue desiccant cartridge was removed from the vacuum sealed package (inside the “new” stabiliser module box) and inserted into the high capacity unit. You should hear it click into position.
The Stabilised Aqueous Ozone does not smell like regular cleaners.
Clean should not have a smell. The smell of lemon, fresh etc. in regular cleaning chemicals indicates the use of an additive to the chemical and these are harmful and can cause irritation.
Why does the glass/surfaces have streaks?
You are likely alternating chemicals with Stabilised Aqueous Ozone during your cleaning regiment. Stabilized Aqueous Ozone will attack the layers of chemicals until it reaches the natural surface. To achieve optimal results, Stabilised Aqueous Ozone should be used exclusively.
Do I have to purchase new spray bottles?
Replacement of existing cleaning supplies are not necessary. Rinsing existing supplies thoroughly with Stabilised Aqueous Ozone will be sufficient. Tersano MSDS labels are available for the bottles.
What if there is no solution dispensing?
The first thing to check is that the water source is turned on and power is connected to the unit. If both of these are confirmed then ensure the hose connectors on the stabiliser are installed properly and locked in place.
Must I shut off the cold water supply to the unit after every use?
Make sure FLOW switch is in the OFF position when not in use and that the cold water tap is turned off as well.
Sometimes when filling multiple spray bottles for a shift, I find it annoying to turn the FLOW switch on and off. Can I just kink the hose like I do with my garden hose to temporarily stop the water then release at the next bottle to fill?
DO NOT BLOCK or reduce the flow from the STABILISED AQUEOUS OZONE OUT hose with any type of shut-off device or nozzle – this may damage the unit and will void the warranty.
